Mufulira Copper Queen
This is a photo of the 1970 Copper Queen Dance which was held
at the Congo Border Hall in Mufulira on St Patrick's Day.
The names from right to left, as far as I can
remember;
I was the first one (Wilma Henry), then you had Lorraine Good, I don't know
who the third one was, the fourth one is our Karen Hansen. Then you have Josie
Hartman, Sally Asher, the Kirwan girls (Dr. Kirwans daughters,) and the last
one I think is one of the Turnbulls but I am not sure.
