Some of these shots were taken when I chartered a single-engined Piper
for a last look at Kitwe, from the air. I thought my nephew, 16, would also
enjoy the short flight, but he didn't say much while I was busily taking photos
through the side window. He slowly turned green and had to be rushed home. Strange,

Kitwe becomes a City _ Facts for the investor _ Cost of living
The name of the publisher is not given. I assume it was compiled by the City Council. It was printed by Associated Printers Ltd at their Kitwe branch. In those days, colour separation and screening facilities available locally were fairly primitive, and even the typesetting in this booklet was probably cold metal. It certainly looks like it.
