Pat Ellison has kindly provided the folllowing information relating to this
picture:
"The large house on the left was owned & built by the Pienaars who also had
Springbok Motors (Caltex) down towards the police station. The large building
lower down on the left was Darwoodjees & the white building on the right was
Excel Builders Supplies which my parents & grandparents owned. My father built
both buildings along with many others in the town. My folks also had Mazabuka
Garage & Cafe (BP service station) which was next door to Darwoodjies going down
the hill. What a wonderful place to have grown up in!"
